Been busy baking, crafting, decorating, partying, shopping, seeing shows, writing cards, wrapping presents, caroling, working, and just doing normal holiday stuff.
I just love the Martha Steward packaging I bought at Michaels. Isn't it just darling?

I made stuff for all the boys classes and class gifts for all their teachers. Zach wanted snowmen cookies.
For Noah's class we made gingerbread houses. He has such a nice class. I washed milk cartons and glue gunned them on heavy duty platters. The kids covered them with frosting and graham crackers. And a million pieces of candy! They were so super creative and were so quiet and focussed for a full hour. It was really fun to put on his party.

For the teachers I collected gift cards and money for gift cards to their favorite places. I then got fresh wreathes and wired organza bags and ribbons and finished it off with a class picture in a frame in the center. My friend, Bonnie came up with the idea and it was so nice to be able to divide and conquer. The teachers loved them. Heck, I'd love one!

All this craftiness was on Friday. After all the school celebrations we went to my good friend's house and made more gingerbread houses. I haven't seen Sarah much lately. We used to hang out all the time when the kids were little but now that they go to different schools and are in different activities we don't see each other as often. Being at her house felt so good, so comfortable. Their is nothing better than good frien
