A pictureless post

I know...boring. I still have no camera. I'm sad. Well, I have a camera, but it's not my rebel so I have no interest in taking pictures with it. Waa! What a whiner, huh?

I'm busy with end of the year stuff at school. I've been busy making frames for teacher appreciation and it looks like I will be making the food for the luncheon as well. Tonight we're going to see musical, tomorrow is Joey's baseball pool party, Saturday is the Reflections crop, and Sunday we might fit in legoland. We'll see :)

Do you watch Jon and Kate plus 8? I have a little bit but I watched the season opener and it was just the saddest thing I've ever seen. They both seem so totally trashed. Then after the opener I watched one from last year and they seemed pretty happy and were talking about how they would be together forever. It broke my heart. I know she comes off as pretty bitchy sometime but she is managing 8 kids and I know managing 3 sometimes I might look like that. No matter...what a really sad situation.

So on that depressing note I'm going to go. I've got to run to the bank, the library, Costco, meet with Karen....before the kids get out of school. Have a good day!

Open House

Teacher Appreciation is next week so I thought it would be nice to make frames for group shots for all the teachers. 24 frames! I had it all planned out with paper I had but when I was at Michaels I just fell in love with Me and My Big Ideas vacation line. It's a hawaiin theme for teacher's apprecation. I went home and could not stop thinking about the paper so I went back and got it and was busy cutting, sanding, modpodging this morning. It was so pretty that I grabbed my camera to take a picture and guess what...my camera didn't work. I thought it was the battery, but no. It's totally dead. I am so sad!! I love my rebel. I can't believe it won't work. So, sorry, no pretty pictures.

Tonight was Open House. I had to bring my pocket camera. I hate it. I hate flash, I hate how it washes everything out. I hate the blah photos I get with it...

But, I LOVE Open House and I love my boys so I had to get over it.

Noah just loves dogs. I think this dog is pretty amazing. Much better than I can do!

Zach is just thrilled that they are studying bugs. He talks about them every single day. They are doing such a cool hands on stuff in science. They have bugs on their desk even. Better at school than my house :)

Joey is really working hard at school. I'm really proud of him. His mission looked pretty darn cool.

We are the Champions!

I just LOVE baseball season. Tonight was the game of the season. My throat is sore from yelling so much. It was the final game and Joey's team WON! Not only did they win the playoffs but they won the season as well so they got trophys and medals. I'm so happy for him. He is such a team player. Even with the broken finger he never missed a game and I'm so happy he got to play the last two playoff games. We couldn't have had better coaches or nicer families. I'm so happy that we have one more party before we close this season.

God Bless These Boys

Today was such a special day. It was Noah and Zach's First Holy Communion. It was so wonderful that they got to make it together. To make it even more special Joey was an alter server for mass. I thought all the boys looked so handsome but Joey just looks so at home in a suit.

Zach doesn't like having his picture taken so he was such a stinker. I love this one with him laughing his head off.

Here they are at home afterwards with their cakes. They wanted chocoloate with chocolate cake but I just had to have a white cake for a Communion so I made two.

We were so happy to celebrate this day with Grandma and our good friends.

I'm back

I know...I've been seriously MIA. Between double rounds of strep throat and Reflections I've been busy...and tired. Reflections was wonderful! We had some little bumps but all and all I think it went really well. The projects were beautiful, the food yummy, the people happy, the atmosphere beautiful... I was too busy running around to take pictures but I will post some when I get some.

Tonight we went to Elephant Bar for dinner. Noah got a reward for reading so we went to use his certificate. The boys were all chatting and coloring and my hubby and I were talking and I just had a moment of complete gratitude. Gratitude for my family and for my husband and for the life we have.
After dinner I took a kickbacking class with my friend and now I'm watching Castle (I love that show). What a good day :)
